SMART ideas are one of the fastest growing technological trends stepping into a growing number of areas of our professional and private lives. We are currently witnessing a revolution that has the potential to bring new, intelligent solutions to businesses.

Therefore, we will focus on popularizing the SMART Industry concept at the ITM Europe trade fair in Poznań from 4 to 7 June 2019. As the  main focus  will be put on digitization, integration and automation of technological processes, the exhibitors will be presenting machines, equipment, technological solutions and software based on the Industrial 4.0 and Smart Factory themes.

SMART events

Like Industry 4.0, Smart Industry is a concept that covers the phenomena related to the digitization of the economy, in particular that related to the industry. This concept is based on three pillars: digitization of information, flexible and intelligent manufacturing technologies and modern communication, all implemented on the production floor level, which translate into intelligent, efficient and responsive actions.

Many events scheduled for this year’s ITM Europe 2019 will be held within the SMART theme. We are working on a special space Smart Factory, whose aim is to demonstrate the production process in intelligent factories (IoT, digitization, robotization). In addition, as part of the Modernlog fair, we want to organize Smart Warehouse, a conference that comprehensively presents the key aspects of logistics 4.0. Another new element is the Smart Poznań Manufactury Meeting, an event dedicated to representatives of the maintenance sector, which will provide an opportunity to gain knowledge, inspiration and good practices in the field of maintenance management. This year, we will again offer the ‘sightseeing paths’, in which guided groups will visit selected trade fair stands and get to know the subject matter of “Industry 4.0”, “3D printing” and “Logistics 4.0”.

Efficient production

Modern technologies play an important role in almost all areas of human activity today. Automation of production processes is one of the key elements of development in industry. Robots are an excellent tool in the hands of a man who knows how to use them to provide consumers with the products they expect. Robotization of production has been one of the most striking trends in Polish industry in the recent years. Industrial robots are emerging in new areas and are being used for an increasing number of human tasks.

“Cooperation between people and robots enhances companies development, opens up new opportunities and increases the level of knowledge, because in the face of changes, human work becomes more demanding and valuable. Currently, almost every industry sees robotization: it helps to develop products, improves the company’s image, competitiveness, flexibility and security. All these factors are very important not only in the context of industrial development, but also in the context of the whole society,” emphasizes Joanna Kucharska, Director of ITM Europe. “Of course, ITM Poland 2019 will feature exhibitions where industry leaders will demonstrate innovative solutions and technologies related to industrial robotization and automation,” she adds.

Poznań has been attracting market leaders for years. For four days it will become the capital of the engineering, automation and robotization industry, and the ITM Europe INNOVATIONS-TECHNOLOGIES-MACHINES trade fair will become an indicator of changes, trends and the direction of development for the industry. This year, products and services will be showcased by the most important companies on the market including DMG MORI, Fanuc, Siemens, Kuka, Autodesk, Trumpf, GF Maschninig, Europa Systems, Sandvik, Remmert, and Yaskawa. Be encouraged to come to Poznań, 4-7 June 2019, and visit the industrial fairs: ITM Poland, Subcontracting, Modernlog and 3D Solutions.
